Live: Sensex Falls Over 150 Points, Nifty Below 9,350; ONGC Among Top Losers

The Sensex fell over 100 points and the Nifty retreated from its record closing in previous session on the back of profit booking in metal, FMCG, IT, capital goods, banking and power shares. The Sensex fell as much as 136 points and Nifty declined as much as 38.55 points to hit intraday low of 9,321.35.

10:01 am: Sumeet Bagadia, Associate Director, Choice Broking, recommends buying Adani Ports with stop loss at Rs. 328 for target of Rs. 350-360.
9:33 am: Sensex trades 133 points lower at 29,994 and Nifty declines 36 points to 9,324.

9:30 am: The broader markets trade on a muted note, BSE mid-cap down 0.02 per cent and small-cap index up 0.09 per cent.

9:25 am: Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum among top Nifty gainers as crude oil prices fall to 5-month low.

9:21 am: Hindalco, ONGC, GAIL India, Mahindra & Mahindra, ITC, Power Grid, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC, Tata Motors, Hindustan Unilever and Ambuja Cemenets were among the top losers in the Nifty.

9:18 am: From the Nifty basket of shares, 32 were advancing while 19 were declining.
